Magnetic Tool has been integrated into the latest version of the Ref Tools app, a comprehensive mobile application tailored for air conditioning and refrigeration technicians. Ref Tools equips you with the necessary tools, assistance, support, and knowledge essential for your fieldwork.

By downloading Ref Tools, you will gain access to the most recent Magnetic Tool features. One of Magnetic Tool's primary functions is facilitating the quick and straightforward testing of solenoid valve coils. You just have to launch the application, position your smartphone near the solenoid coil for testing, and observe the wheel within the app. If it begins rotating, you can confirm that your solenoid valve is functioning correctly.

For solenoid valves located in challenging positions, Magnetic Tool offers the option to receive audio, haptic feedback, or a combination of both upon detecting a magnetic field. This feature enables you to inspect a valve without glancing at your screen, allowing for seamless maneuvering of the phone as needed.

Additionally, Magnetic Tool provides users with two distinct modes: Simple and Advanced. In Simple mode, initiating testing is a straightforward process of opening the app and commencing the evaluation. Advanced mode, on the other hand, permits users to fine-tune the threshold tolerances of the magnetometer, primarily useful for minimizing or eradicating interference from neighboring solenoid valves.

Magnetic Tool is encompassed within the Danfoss CoolApps Toolbox, a suite of mobile applications developed to assisting installers and service technicians in their daily undertakings. To explore the complete assortment of applications, visit CoolApps.Danfoss.com.
